Perianne Boring founded the Chamber of Digital Commerce in 2014, and is the President of the lobbying organisation. The Chamber of Digital Commerce, based in Washington DC, promotes the acceptance and use of blockchain-based technologies through advocacy, education and work with policy-makers. Boring has founded several industry initiatives through her work with the Chamber, including the Blockchain Alliance, the Global Blockchain Forum and the Smart Contracts Alliance.
Boring is a public speaker and is also a contributor at *Forbes*, where she is author of the column *The Beauty of the Blockchain*.
Boring began her career as a legislative analyst in the U.S. House of Representatives, advising on finance, economics, tax and healthcare policy. Prior to forming the Chamber of Digital Commerce in 2014, she was a television anchor, presenting an internal finance program for RT America.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Florida.
